TPOne Programmable Room Thermostat platform delivers new levels of user friendly interaction. The flexible dot matrix display uses easy read icons and text information to provide feedback on status and settings to the installer and user. When the display is activated the backlight illuminates and guides are given on the what buttons will adjust temperatures or navigate the setting menus.

Chrono Proportional, Load Compensation control is the default heat regulation system that will deliver increased comfort and improved economy over standard on/off control. Standard On/Off can also be selected.

When chrono-proportional mode is set, the thermostat introduces a fixed cycle rate on the system and then determines the duration of the On and Off periods within each cycle in proportion to load.

The control algorithm used to determine the on/off periods uses a proportional + integral (PI) routine to eliminate offset normally associated with on/off or simple proportional control.

Chrono-proportional control significantly improves comfort and generally improves boiler efficiency by optimising water temperature.

For TPOne we have redesigned the heating startup options. Standard startup is default giving instant heat at the scheduled time. New dynamic Delayed and Optimised start features are also selectable. Delayed start will pause the heating startup at the scheduled time dependant on the difference between ambient and required temperature which will decrease energy usage. Optimised start will monitor the difference between ambient and required temperature and will calculate the best time to start heating to hit setpoint at the scheduled time.

Both features dynamically adjust according to performance accuracy each day to ensure most acurate control and remove the need for manual setting and adjustment.

  • It will replace the mains powered TP5000M.  It will not replace the battery powered TP5000, or the wireless TP5000RF.

  • It will work with the existing TS2.  A new one is not included.  If you wanted to replace it, then you will need the TS2A.

  • This is a suitable replacement.  It is a fairly simple swap if you are comfortable with wiring.

  • Hi.  You will need to change the backplate, but the TPOne-M will connect to the existing wires for a fairly easy swap.

  • As long as it is the mains powered TP7000M, then it will replace it using the existing wires.  The wall plate will need to be replaced with the one included.

    If you have the battery powered TP7000, then you need the TPOne-B.

  • The  Eberle FR-E525 31 was typically used with electric underfloor heating.  Unfortunately the TPOne-M is not suitable for electric underfloor.
  • As long as there is suitable wiring to the thermostat location. You will need to make a change on the backplate of the 102E7 so that it will only control the hot water. You will also need one or more motorised valves on the system.
  • Only the TP5M. Not the battery powered TP5.
  • The output goes on the 'ON' or 'NO1' terminal. You will need to link 'L' and 'COM' to make it output 230v.
  • No, it is dynamic and adjusts itself as it learns your system. For storage heaters you may need to switch via a relay, as this can switch up to 3 amps.
  • The battery is only used during a power cut to maintain time and programmed settings. It's built in, so it's not something you will ever have to change.
  • Yes, it is made in the UK.
  • You can choose one of 5 restrictions when setting it up: 1 - Warning Only - visual and audible warnings only, no reduction of heat. 2 - Heat 45min/hr - visual and audible warnings with reduction of heat to 45 minutes per hour. 3 - Heat 30min/hr - visual and audible warnings with reduction of heat to 30 minutes per hour. 4 - Heat 15min/hr - visual and audible warnings with reduction of heat to 15 minutes per hour. 5 - No Heating - visual and audible warnings with no heating.
